ISE 2020 Product Overview

Another ISE has come and gone, with us this year saying goodbye to Amsterdam and the RAI. The majority of our suppliers were present at this years event, many of them having new and exciting products on show…

Angekis – One Touch

Angekis, a leader in the USB camera market, showcased a prototype for its all-in-one conferencing camera, OneTouch. Scheduled for availability in Q2 of this year, the OneTouch will feature a 4K sensor, similar to the one on the Blade 4K, for ultra high-definition video conferencing. Auto Framing on the camera, means it will automatically adjust its FOV to fit all participants in shot, whilst single speaker tracking allows the camera to follow one speaker. 4 built-in beamforming array microphones provide excellent audio coverage up to 4 metres, and the inbuilt speaker allows users to hear far end audio. More information will be available for the One Touch in the near future.

Aveo Systems – Mira Connect

Released at the beginning of this year, Aveo Systems’ had its new Mira Connect 10 on show for all to see. The minimal programming room control system has been given a modern make-over, as well as additional mounting options for on-wall and in-wall installations. The new 10 supports the same extensive functionality as Aveo’s original Mira Connect, providing integrators and end users with an easy-to-install and even easier to use, room control system.

Mira Connect 10’s table top SKU includes its newly available articulating table top stand, that allows for angle and height adjustment of the touch screen. For in-wall installations, Aveo have an in-wall metal backbox to house the Mira Connect 10 and for on-wall installs, users can use any third-party 75 x 75mm VESA mount.

Clockaudio – TIM-1000

Unlike last year, ClockAudio didn’t have anything new on display, however; it did once again have its ground breaking ceiling microphone, TIM-1000, available to see. TIM was introduced at last years event and has been designed to change the way we use and install audio in video conferencing rooms. With a simple flush mounted installation and east setup on a web-based GUI, TIM offers as an excellent solution for rooms of all shapes and sizes. TIM provides high-quality audio pickup, due to its Automated Proximity Tracking (APT) Technology and noise suppression, eliminating unwanted steady state noise in the room. Supporting DANTE and AES67, minimal cabling is required for TIM, with users only needing to install cheap CAT cables.

Luxul – AMS Switches

Similarly to ClockAudio, Luxul weren’t displaying any new products at this years event, but it did have its AMS Series of PoE Managed Switches on show. Featuring rear panel ports and front facing LEDs, Luxuls AMS switches are an excellent choice for expanding your network when using PoE-enabled devices. With solutions ranging from 8-24 PoE ports, the AMS switches are capable of supporting a range of projects, plus; with stackable models as well, you can support even the biggest of installations. All Luxuls switches are plug-and-play, reducing the time it takes for project setup, simply plug your devices in and your good to go. The majority of its switches also include Self-Healing features such as, Auto-Recovering and Power Scheduling. Auto Recovery re-boots any connected devices if they fall offline, whilst Power Scheduling allows users to set specific times when they want their devices switched on or off.

SpinetiX – HMP400

SpinetiX’s big release at this years event, was its next generation of digital signage. It introduced the HMP 400, a high-performance digital signage player, which combines powerful commercial-grade hardware, with a special purpose operating system known as DSOS. The specially designed OS, seamlessly supports the most diverse and demanding digital signage scenarios, providing users with limitless applications.

The HMP 400 supports stunning pictures and 4K videos, guaranteeing high-quality content in all signage scenarios. Pair the 400 with either of SpinetiX’s software solutions, ARYA and Elementi, to create and share engaging content to your audience. Being IoT Ready, you can personalise your digital signage with real-time responsive content, triggered by sensors, cameras and more.

Vaddio – EasyIP

Vaddio introduced a host of new and exciting solutions at this years event. To sign off Amsterdam ISE with a bang, Vaddio premiered its introduction to the AV over IP world, with the EasyIP Ecosystem. Currently made up of the EasyIP Camera and EasyIP Decoder, the Ecosystem has been designed to move videoconferencing onto the network. Remove expensive and tricky to install USB extension systems and transfer all your power, data and control via cheap and efficient CAT cables.

The EasyIP Decoder connects seamlessly to all UC soft clients and allows users to connect up to 4 EasyIP cameras to one PC. Use the EasyIP Decoder to control each of the cameras in the room and switch between the camera inputs.

Vaddio – AV Bridge 2×1

In addition to the EasyIP range, Vaddio introduced its 2×1 AV Bridge. Offering the same functionality as the previous AV Bridge models, the 2×1 can take in 2 HDMI video sources and bridge these into any video conferencing application. A neat feature to the 2×1 Bridge is its ability to seamlessly switch between the two video sources. Using the buttons on the front of the device, users can select how they want the sources to be displayed and which source they want to show.

The 2X1 AV Bridge supports a 12×12 fully mixable audio matrix, along with mic line inputs and HDMI, IP and USB audio. Its IP output and RTMP capabilities, allows users to stream directly to platforms such as Panopto, whilst simultaneously holding video conferences over USB.
